Our two night, weekend retreat, is a intended for individuals, friends or couples who want to avail of an opportunity to take a step back from life in order to focus on their personal self-care and development through a balanced programme of therapeutic activities with ample free time to relax, unwind and simply be! You can take the time to walk, think and talk, without being rushed or constrained by the clock and schedules. 

 

Our programme activities are guided by your counselling psychotherapist, Theresa who offers support and a listening ear throughout your retreat. All conversations with Theresa are therapeutic in nature; focused around your individual needs and areas for growth and development. 

We have created a secure therapeutic space and supported environment in your beautiful home away from home with extensive garden areas for your retreat. It is secluded and private, with limited guest numbers, so as to ensure you are sufficiently supported during your wellbeing retreat. Our gardens have different beautiful areas for you to explore and spend time in nature. 

On this residential retreats we include two nights accommodation in a private room with arrival Friday at your leisure and departure Sunday.

You will be well nourished during your stay and enjoy healthy and freshly prepared home-cooked meals including breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, as well as refreshments throughout the day.

Every day is organised around our variety of therapeutic activities which include Talking Therapy along with: 

Daily sound therapy meditation treatments with a certified sound therapist, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

One Introduction to Mindful Awareness Nature Photography Workshop.

Two hour workshop teaching you the techniques of how to use Tibetan Singing Bowls at home for your continued Mindfulness and Meditation self-care practice.

Talking Therapy

You will be subtly immersed in the practice of mindfulness throughout your time with us.

Throughout the programme at your Serenity Weekend Wellness Retreat conversations are therapeutic in nature, skilfully guided during your time with Theresa, your qualified counselling psychotherapist and host. She is always aware of the subtlety required between times for speaking, listening and being in silence, in the company of others and time alone. 

You will be able to enjoy spending time in nature during your mindfulness walks and guided mindful photography activities in the extensive gardens at your new home away from home.

You will have ample time to wind down, which will enable you to process, reflect and rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit throughout your day because our programme is guided at a leisurely, relaxed yet progressive pace that ends after your evening meal.

We will collect you from our local train station in Thurles if you decide to arrive by train, advance ticket purchase is available on www.irishrail.com

Airport collection can be arranged at an additional cost. 

Retreat durations can be longer than our 2 night weekend stay. Please contact us if you would like to extend your visit.

15:30 - 16:30 Walk around the Serenity Residence and shown to your private room. 

16:30 - 17:30 Introductory Sound Therapy Meditation

17:30 - 18:00 Free Time at residence
