A therapeutic retreat combining Sound Therapy, Meditation, Mindfulness, for individuals seeking to immerse themselves in a supportive retreat during a time of deep personal reflection and growth.

On this residential retreats we include five nights accommodation in a private room, with arrival Sunday anytime from noon onwards and departure Friday morning after breakfast.

Every day is organised around our variety of activities which include:

Daily therapeutic talking and processing sessions with your counselling psychotherapist. 

Daily sound therapy meditations with a certified sound therapist.

One workshop teaching you the techniques of how to use Tibetan Singing Bowls at home for your continued Mindfulness and Meditation self-care practice.

Daily activities of Mindful Awareness Nature Photography.


Yoga and somatic movement body work sessions of 90 minutes duration with a specialist Yoga and Somatic Movement practitioner are an optional extra activity that can be arranged on your behalf. 

You will be subtly immersed in the practice of mindfulness throughout your time with us.

Throughout the programme at your Serenity Wellness Retreat conversations are therapeutic in nature, skilfully guided during your time with Theresa, your qualified counselling psychotherapist and host. She is always aware of the subtlety required between times for speaking, listening and being in silence, in the company of others and time spent alone. 

We will also enjoy personal free time an outing to two of Irelands historical monastic sights, affording you the opportunity to walk mindfully 'in the present,' amongst natures splendour, whilst retracing ancient pilgrim paths. 

You will be able to enjoy spending time in nature during your mindfulness walks and guided mindful photography activities in the extensive gardens at your new home away from home and in local areas of natural beauty.  

You will have ample time to wind down, which will enable you to process, reflect and rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit throughout your day because our programme is guided at a leisurely, relaxed yet progressive pace that ends after your evening meal. You will be well nourished during your stay and enjoy healthy and freshly prepared home-cooked meals including breakfasts, lunches and evening meals, as well as refreshments throughout the day.

We will collect you from our local train station in Thurles if you decide to arrive by train, advance ticket purchase is available on

Airport collection can be arranged at an additional cost. 

Retreat durations can be longer than our 5 night stay. Please contact us if you would like to extend your visit.

14:00 - 17:00 Optional afternoon outing to an ancient Irish archaeological sight and historical local town of Cashel, Co. Tipperary (The Rock of Cashel & Hoare Abbey) or personal self-care schedule.

10:00 - 11:00 Retreat conclusion, debriefing meeting and farewell.

Departure for onward journey and/or return to train station.
